1929-2026 SEBRING — Frederick R. Crowgey Jr., 97, of Copeland Oaks, died peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, at the Crandall Medical Center surrounded by his wife and their children. He was born Sept. 29, 1929, in Akron, the son of the late Frederick R. Crowgey Sr. MD and the late Olive (Dickey) Crowgey. Fred retired from the former Bliss-Salem Inc. as project supervisor in mechanical engineering. He was a member and former deacon of the First United Methodist Church of Salem.
