ROGERS — The new reality show Flea Market Fanatics based at the Rogers Community Auction will resume filming May 25 and June 1.

According to a company press release, the casting call in March was successful and the Hollywood Top Productions team will return to the Rogers Community Auction, also known as Rogers Sale, to follow the “fanatics” on their daily adventures into the miles of vendors, food and auctions.

Hosted by Cleveland comedian Jess Faulstich, the upbeat show will feature the family which runs the market, the shoppers, vendors, food and items for sale at the Rogers Sale.

Hollywood Top Productions and Rogers Community Auction Inc. are co-producing Flea Market Fanatics.

Steve Kreider, CEO of Hollywood Top Productions, is a Waterford, Pa., native who retired from the Army in 2013 after serving 25 years. Since retiring, Kreider has worked as a producer on Duck Dynasty. He also worked with Ricky Schroder Productions on the Army reality show Starting Strong and consulted on the feature film Pitch Perfect 3.

“We want to make an original show and you can’t get more original than the Rogers flea market. The turnout in March was incredible, but not everyone got their chance to tell their story and that’s why Flea Market Fanatics will be back on May 25,” Kreider said in the press release.

Fanatics director Steve Swanson said he is excited to build on the casting call that was done in March.

“I think people are going to be surprised at how different our show is from others for a couple of reasons,” he said.

Those reasons include that it is a comedy, and the focus is more on the people and not as much on what is being sold, he explained.

The show is filmed by Cinemanix, a Youngstown creative studio.

Those interested in being on the show should email HTCastingCall@gmail.com, including full name, phone number, and age. Those under 18 years old will need permission from a parent or legal guardian.
