A 16-year-old Lisbon driver was transported by KLG Ambulance to Salem Regional Medical Center following a rollover crash just after 3 p.m. Wednesday on Adams Road just north of Lisbon Wednesday. The passenger, his 12-year-old sister, was not injured. According to state Trooper Steve Tucci, the pair were westbound in a 2003 Buick LeSabre on Adams Road when he lost control and went off the left side of the road, striking a fence and overturning. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash according to Tucci, however, both Tucci and Trooper Jodi Bowlen noted that they were both belted and that usually makes a big difference in the seriousness of the injuries. Lisbon firefighters responded to the scene to assist and provide traffic control. Rankin Towing removed the vehicle. (Salem News photo by Patti Schaeffer)
