The World Trade Park in Leetonia expects to see more jobs arrive over the next two years as Pennex Aluminum said it is doubling the size of its Leetonia facility with a new 12" extrusion press it will house in the new building pictured here. Pennex moved to the WTP in 2010 when it acquired General Extrusions, along with its 9" press. C. Tucker Cope & Associates of Columbiana is the contractor on the new metal building. Pennex plans to hire an additional 68 employees and attributes its growth to more orders pouring in related to the automotive industry's transition from steel to aluminum.
