God’s Quad will perform at Victory Gospel Jubilee on Sept. 16

God's Quad Quartet

NORTH LIMA — The Victory Gospel Jubilee returns to the Old School Marketplace at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 with a concert featuring a local favorite quartet, God’s Quad.

God’s Quad was formed in the 1980s and currently consists of lead singer Jay Clark from Salem, who has been with the group 22 years and has taught high school for 32 years; Mark Burcaw, baritone, from North Benton, 22 years with the group and is a paramedic; Lee Kurtz, bass, with the group eight years, is from Columbiana and is a retired mason; and Becky Vignon, tenor, with the group six years from Washingtonville and is an optician.

The group has opened for many national groups including the Kingsmen, The Anchormen and Greater Vision.

The Jubilee, in its sixth year of concerts, is hosted by the Golden Street Singers of Farmdale. It will be God’s Quad’s first appearance at the Jubilee.

There is no admission charge. A free will offering is accepted. The Old School Marketplace is the former South Range High School at 11836 South Ave.  It is handicap accessible. The concert is in the auditorium and sanctuary of The Gate Church. For information call 330-933-6403.
