LISBON -- A 16-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited into Columbiana County Juvenile Court after reportedly having an unloaded .22-caliber handgun in his backpack on Aug. 15.
A 17-year-old Southern Local boy was cited with violating the terms of his probation after he allegedly stayed overnight at a home in Canton on Sept. 19, operated a vehicle involved in a traffic stop near Wadsworth High School on Sept. 20 and took another teenager from the Wadsworth High School without the permission of that teen's custodian. Additionally, when he was contacted by the Wadsworth police about the incident, he allegedly gave the officers false information and accused the officers of malfeasance. The boy also missed school on Sept. 20.
A 16-year-old Southern Local girl was cited with violating the terms of her probation on Sept. 20 when she left school getting into a silver car and did not return to Bridgeway, where she had been placed by her custodian, the Department of Jobs and Family Services. Her whereabouts continue to be unknown.
A 17-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited after allegedly violating the terms of his probation when he tested positive for cocaine on Sept. 14.
A 17-year-old Beaver Local child was cited after allegedly going into the home of Billy Burchett, Taggart Street, East Palestine on Jan. 8 and taking a TV, video consol and other related items.
A 12-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited for reportedly shoving his mother on Sept. 19 and after allegedly trespassing into a home occupied by Megan Mercer, Wilbert Avenue, on Aug. 22.
A 16-year-old Southern Local boy was cited with violating the terms of his probation after he reportedly tested positive for the presence of THC on a random drug screen administered by his probation officer on Oct. 4. Additionally, the teen has also missed 17 days of school this year, including 10 unexcused absences, and been tardy on four other occasions.
A 17-year-old Columbiana child was cited for violating terms of probation after becoming involved in an altercation in Mahoning County with another resident of the same facility. The victim's head was shut into a car door and then attacked from behind before the fight could be broken up. The victim received a concussion and a broken nose.
