LISBON -- In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Larry A. Ketchum, 30, Broadway, Wellsville, waived extradition hearing so he can be returned to the state of Utah, where he is facing a charge of distribution of pornography. A criminal damaging charge for allegedly breaking a sprinkler head at the county jail was dismissed.
An Oct. 4 preliminary hearing was set for Matthew E. Marshall, 18, Somer Street, Leetonia, charged with burglary, theft and obstructing official business. for allegedly going into the home of Rebecca Brown on Aug. 23 by using the keypad code while her son was sleeping and stealing a phone and an X-box game. On Sept. 7, Marshall reportedly signed a police statement accusing Daniel Haschack of taking his X-box, when Marshall had pawned it for $95.
Robert John Anderson, 39, Dutchtown School Road, Rogers, was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of failure to comply with the orders or signal of a police officer for fleeing from East Palestine police in a Pontiac Grand Am on May 13.
A Nov. 8 pretrial was set for Michele Marie Wertz, 52, South Main Street, Columbiana, cited with OVI refusal with prior within 20 years.
Matthew J. Armstrong, 37, Cleveland Heights, was fined $50 and required 30 hours community service for criminal mischief amended from theft. He was ordered to pay $256 to Ed Longbottom for leaving a contractor's job without finishing and taking Longbottom's house key and a Home Depot gift card with him.
A Nov. 5 pretrial was set for Jeff E. Taylor, 61, Madison Avenue, Salineville, charged with resisting arrest and fleeing and failure to comply. Taylor fled from Salineville Police on Sept. 9, after learning he had a warrant, driving recklessly through town, running stop signs, and without respect for the public for 1.1 miles.
A Nov. 15 pretrial was set for Bobby L. Armstead, 34, Fair Avenue, Salem, charged with resisting arrest and two counts of obstructing official business. One charge was for allegedly wiggling out of the black jacket he was wearing and fleeing from deputies through a field and woods on Feb. 9. Another charge was for wrestling with Sheriff Ray Stone after he was found.
An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Daniel L. Taylor, 50, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension, failure to reinstate a license and domestic violence for allegedly grabbing his wife, Tina Cross-Taylor, by the air, punching her in the face and stomping on her right ankle on Sept. 19.
A Nov. 13 pretrial was set for Kierra D. Raynes, 21, East Main Street, East Palestine, charged with endangering a child for allegedly allowing her 3-year-old child to wander around by himself wearing only a pull-up. The boy was found in the parking lot of the police station on Sunday.
Ashley M. Messenger, 28, Cunningham Road, Salem, was fined $250 for disorderly conduct amended from aggravated menacing. The charges stated Messenger was shooting a firearm in the air and threatening to shoot people's vehicles on Oct. 8, 2017.
James L. Ingledue, 50, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for assault for punching Richard Parrish in the head several times on April 21.
Cassie N. Hubbard, 30, East College Street, Alliance, was fined $200 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Raven Symone Rushton, 26, Youngstown, was fined $175 for fictitious plates and expired registration.
A Nov. 20 pretrial was set for Phillip R. Cline, 45, New Garden Avenue, Salem, cited with driving under OVI suspension and two lights displayed.
David A. Miley, 32, Main Street, Leetonia, was fined $225 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and open container in a motor vehicle.
Brian Joseph Knight, 47, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for criminal trespassing for returning to Dollar General in Lisbon, where he has previously been told not to return.
Lena N. Hartman, 19, Uniontown, was fined $100 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.
Amanda M. Esken, 29, North Meadowbrook Circle, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for speeding.
A Nov. 26 pretrial was set for Kyle Joe Lykens, 19, Salineville Road, Salineville, cited with possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was fined $25 for a headlight violation.
Ali Hussein Ahmed, 45, Aurora, Co., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from crossing a divided highway.
A Dec. 3 pretrial was set for Jacob P. Sevek, 37, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, cited with improper passing.
An open container citation against Allen L. Catlett, 40, Smithfield, Pa., was dismissed.
