-- Police were called at 4:20 a.m. Friday to the 900 block of West Wilson Street for an illegally parked vehicle in a no parking zone. The owner moved the vehicle.
-- A business alarm was reported at 2:26 a.m. Friday in the 2300 block of East State Street. An open door was located and officers made entry, clearing the building and finding no one inside. The door was secured.
-- A noise complaint was reported at 11:43 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of South Lundy Avenue, with police finding the sound of music was coming from a local bar.
-- Police at 11:03 p.m. Thursday investigated a 911 hangup call in the 300 block of West Seventh Street. No one was located.
-- Police responded at 10:51 p.m. Thursday to Circle K East, 1125 E. State St., for a report of a person there who had been trespassed from the store. Officer spoke to an employee and manager who said the person in question was not trespassed and was allowed to be there.
-- An officer with assistance from Perry Township Police responded to a suspicious vehicle report at 10:36 p.m. Thursday under the West State Street bridge near the Salem utilities department building. The officer had contact with the people and ensured no criminal activity was occurring.
-- A dispute was reported at 9:35 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of East Fourth Street where police spoke to one person who said the second person involved left before officers arrived. The first person would not give any information.
-- Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 9:09 p.m. Thursday for several violations in the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. K-9 Simon indicated to the presence of a narcotics odor and several items of contraband were removed. Charges are pending lab results.
-- A barking dog was reported at 7:52 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Vine Avenue, but could not be found.
-- A dog at large was reported at 6:53 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of North Ellsworth Avenue, but the dog ran off when an officer approached. The dog could not be found.
-- Police responded at 5:39 p.m. Thursday to the Salem Regional Medical Center emergency department for a combative patient, assisting hospital staff.
-- A female came to the station at 5:25 p.m. Thursday to report she had been involved in a dispute with two juveniles known to her while in Centennial Park. She said the two juveniles had been attempting to burn her with a cigarette lighter. She was told her options. The report will be sent to the juvenile officer.
-- A child custody dispute was reported at 4:58 p.m. Thursday in the rear parking lot at the police department. No violence occurred.
-- Loud music was reported at 2:58 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of East Fourth Street. The person turned the music down.
-- Police responded at 1:19 p.m. Thursday to Walmart on East State Street where a man said he has a protection order against him and the person came to his place of work and spoke to him and returned property of his. He wanted it documented and noted that he did not seek the person out. He was worried he would be in violation of the protection order.
-- An officer was flagged down at 11:35 a.m. Thursday by a city resident who advised of illegal drug activity both inside the city and traveling through it. The information will be passed on to the Columbiana County Drug Task Force.
-- A caller at 11:12 a.m. Thursday reported dirt bikes riding on the street in the 1200 block of Cedar Ridge, but none were located.
-- The school resource officer was advised at 10:16 a.m. Thursday about a theft of ear buds and a charger at Salem High School. An administrator said he saw a female student on video walk up to a table in the cafeteria and take the items off of the table. The student denied the theft, but the items were located in her Chromebook case. The items were given back to the owner and the 16-year-old female student was placed in custody for delinquency and released to her guardian.
-- An illegally parked vehicle was reported at 8:50 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Highland Avenue. The owner moved it.
LISBON
--Steve D. Abner, 47, of Canton, was cited for driving with a suspended license and misdemeanor marijuana possession following a traffic stop on East Lincoln Way at 9:44 p.m. Thursday.
LEETONIA
-- An officer responded to the downtown area at 1:25 a.m. May 24 in reference to someone driving a gray truck around with a loud exhaust, but was unable to find the vehicle in question.
-- Officers responded to a 200 block Main Street business at 12:59 p.m. Tuesday where the owners reported two individuals were demanding products for which they did not have a receipt. Both groups were advised it was civil matter. The owners said they did not want the two individuals on the property.
-- An officer responded to a Commerce Drive business at 8:32 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a fire alarm and found that a water tank was filling with too much water. The officer stood by until the fire department arrived on scene.
-- An officer responded to the coke ovens at 10:01 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a possibly suicidal male individual. The man was voluntarily transported to the Salem hospital by Leetonia EMS.
-- Joshua Morris-Revelant, 31, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, was arrested on two active warrants out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office after a patrolling officer observed him and a juvenile riding bicycles at the coke ovens at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday after the park was closed.
-- Officers responded to an alarm at the K-12 campus at 12:08 a.m. Thursday and found that someone had used a key fob to gain entry. No one was found on campus.
-- An officer responded to a 300 block West Salem Street, Columbiana, residence to check on the residence due to Columbiana police being on another incident at 12:58 a.m. Thursday. No one was found outside the home nor in the area.
