Don and Beverly Kuhns celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary July 2 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.

They were married June 8, 1952 at the Greenford Lutheran Church with the Rev. Arvid Kuitenien officiating. Don left for Korea seven days later. He returned after serving in Korea for 15 months.

They have three children, Dawn (Dave) Dickey, Brad Kuhns and Tracey (Tony) Parks; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Family from Cocoa Beach, Fla., Rocky River, Ohio, Chicago, Ill., Oswego, Ill., Columbiana, North Lima and Toots Corner attended the celebration.

The couple has lived in Green Township all their married lives.
