SALEM--Elaine Davis of Salem is celebrating her 90th birthday this year. She was born Feb. 25, 1927 and has three children, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
First she went to her sister-in-law Joyce Slosser's in Satellite Beach, Fla., accompanied by her daughter, Linda Thomson. There she enjoyed a pontoon boat ride, dinner with family and cake.
She then visited her daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Steve Fisher in Venice, Fla. There she had a surprise guest, her granddaughter Ashley Fisher from Irvine, Calif. She had a birthday party there hosted by her daughter and son-in-law with friends and family. Then a boat ride with dinner out to the Gulf from Marina Jacks.
Next there was a party at Salem First Baptist Church hosted by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Maureen Davis, and daughter Linda Thomson. There she was greeted by approximately 70 friends and family. She had a surprise guest there, as well, her granddaughter Casey Migliore of Willow Springs, N.C.
