Jaclyn N. Leffel exchanges vows with Andrew F. Ryan
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Leetonia was the setting for the fall wedding of Jaclyn N. Leffel and Andrew F. Ryan. The Rev. Robert Edwards and Deacon Larry Pasko officiated at the couple’s private, double-ring ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 17. Nuptial music was provided by Joe McKim and Anthony Horvath. A reception at the Barn and Gazebo in Salem followed.
The bride is the daughter of David Leffel and Melanie Dolak of Leetonia. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas and Carol Ryan of Leetonia.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a Jasmine Couture ivory floor-length mermaid style gown featuring an illusion v-neckline with a beaded lace bodice. The gown was embellished with a champagne beaded embroidered sash, a flared tulle skirt with a Tiffany train and accented with a cathedral veil. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, Sahara roses and Dusty Miller entwined with Swarvoski pearl rosary beads made by her mother.
LeeAnne Warner of Leetonia, the bride’s sister, served as matron of honor. Rebecca Ryan of Virginia, the bridegroom’s sister, and Gina Jones of Columbus, served as bridesmaids. They wore wine colored floor-length chiffon dresses.
The best man was Shawn Ryan of Fresno, the bridegroom’s brother.
Groomsmen were Lee Warner of Leetonia, the bride’s brother-in-law, and Luke Newton of Leetonia.
The newlyweds are graduates of Leetonia High School and The Ohio State University. The bride received a bachelor’s degree in special education in 2013 and is an intervention specialist at East Palestine Elementary School. The bridegroom received a bachelor’s of science in human nutrition in 2014 and is currently at Walsh University earning a doctoral degree in physical therapy.
The couple resides in Salem.
