Melinda Marie Bratton becomes bride of Danny Ray Westbrook

Melinda Marie Bratton became the bride of Danny Ray Westbrook on July 9 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in North Georgetown.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bratton of North Georgetown.

The bridegroom’s parents are Ruth Westbrook of Leetonia and the late Ray Westbrook.

Pastor Denise Gundersen of Cortland officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.

The bride wore a strapless gown of white satin and lace with sequins. She carried a bouquet of white roses, lilies and carnations.

Briana Kale, the bride’s niece, was the flower girl.

Justin Kale, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer. Her nephew, Bradley Kale, presided at the guestbook.

Brandon Grimminger, the bride’s son, served as musician and played the Trumpet Voluntary as his mother walked down the aisle.

Approximately 60 guests attended the reception in the fellowship hall at the church.

A honeymoon to Maine followed.

The bride is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Buckeye Elementary School in Salem.

Mr. Westbrook is the vice president of Lazy B Trailers in Bristolville.
