Haley Skolosh exchanges vows with Samuel Hake
Haley Skolosh and Samuel Hake exchanged wedding vows Nov. 28, finding a way to hold a marriage ceremony during the pandemic.
Plans for an extravagant wedding /reception that was set up a year in advance had to be canceled not once, but twice, then replanned for a compacted venue due to shutdowns.
The original 150-guest affair was whittled down to 30 immediate family members only, outside event that materialized in their hometown at the Historical Hanoverton Gazebo.
Pastor Tim Ginter of Church at the Center officiated, with Jim Scott of Pulaski, Pa. providing the guitar music. The couple was whisked away in a 1940 Packard owned and driven by David Johnson of Salem providing a quick ride through Hanoverton, which ended at the Spread Eagle Tavern and Inn for a family reception; with others unable to attend being able to view the event virtually.
The newlyweds reside in Hanoverton.
Haley is the Wellness Coordinator at Aultman Health Foundation in Canton and Samuel is a heavy equipment operator at North Star Asphalt in North Canton.
