Halley Taylor exchanges wedding vows with Jacob Frank
Jacob Frank and the former Halley Taylor, former Sebring-area residents, were married March 28 in a private backyard on the Palos Verddx Peninsula in California.
Originally 88 people from Ohio were set to attend the wedding. In the end, they all had to cancel. Four close friends, the wedding photographer who doubled as the officiant and the couple’s 4-year-old Australian Shepherd/boxer mix attended.
The couple first met in elementary school where they were both students in a class for gifted students in Sebring. They dated briefly in high school before heading to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. They reunited in the fall of 2013 and have been together since.
The bride graduated from West Branch High School in 2009. She attended OSU for one year and works in administrative property management in Long Beach.
The groom graduated from West Branch High School in 2010, as valedictorian. Working toward a goal of becoming an anesthesiologist, he graduated with honors from OSU in 2014, Cincinnati School of Medicine in 2018 and is now in his residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
Jacob is the son of Chris Cannell (stepfather Tim Hetrick) and Jeff Frank (stepmother Debbie Frank).
Halley Taylor Frank is the daughter of Catherine Dana (stepfather Bill Johnson) and the late Patrick Taylor.
Grandparents are Jim and Bobbi Cannell of Sebring and the late Roger and Dorothy Frank.
