Mark Cornman of Austintown has been promoted from corporate controller to vice president of corporate finance. Cornman began working for Compco in 2017 after 30 years in accounting roles with various manufacturing facilities. Cornman is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant and holds several academic degrees; bachelor’s of science and master’s in business administration from YSU, a master’s of science from Kent State University, a master’s of arts from Wayland Baptist University and a doctor of philosophy from Walden University. He holds memberships is AICPA and the Institute of Management Accountants.

Matt Werner of East Palestine is Compco’s new vice president of operations. Werner earned his master of business operational excellence from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt. He has been with Compco in management roles since 2010. In his free time, Werner runs the East Palestine Youth Sports Association Basketball Program.
