Emergency personnel tend to the occupants of this Chevy Malibu after a two-vehicle accident at 6:43 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 62 at North Ellsworth Avenue. Perry Township Police cited Robert D. Cross of Sharon, Pa. for failure to yield after his tractor trailer struck the southbound car driven by Shannon Wiant, 21, of Warren. Wiant and her passenger, Justin Kenney, 20, of Warren, were transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown for possible minor injuries. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
