Exercising their right to express opposition to governor’s plan

Guest speaker Scott Cahill is an expert on infrastructure and speaker on the Constitution. He has had numerous radio and television appearances, both local and national, including the CBS evening news, discussing issues of national infrastructure, the Bill of Rights, the Second Amendment, and physics. He has spoken on Constitutional issues in California, Virginia and Ohio.
Lisbon resident and guest speaker Lt. Colonel Marv Kinsey was a U.S. Army (Green Beret) Special Forces, Special Operations Command, has a B.S. and M.A. from the Ohio State University, a PhD. From the University of Pittsburgh, and also completed the Graduate Command and General Staff College.
Guest speaker Josh Lytle is president of Family Care Ministries that works to facilitate clinical counseling, community outreach, crisis intervention, clinical assessments and various classes in the community and schools. He spoke of the battles with addiction and distress the stay-at-home orders have unfortunately exacerbated in our county.
Brian May of Lisbon expressed his displeasure with the rally supporters.
Twelve-year-olds Jameson Kenneally of East Palestine and Matthew Butler of East Liverpool were among the youth showing support for the rally.

Free Ohio Now held its RALLY AROUND OHIO! Saturday afternoon at the square in Lisbon. The gathering attracted an estimated 80-100 including sparse opposition. The hour-long rally was one of over 30 held in counties throughout Ohio in opposition to Gov. Mike DeWine’s reopening plan. It was organized by area resident Jamie Kenneally. Rally supporters cite a defense of the Bill of Rights against governmental overreach. The event was peaceful. There were two reported minor arrests by the Lisbon PD: one for open container and the other for disorderly conduct persistence. The Free Ohio Now website is https://www.freeohionow.com.
