EAST PALESTINE -- Families enjoyed the Easter breakfast hosted by the Rotary Saturday morning. Children experience a socially distanced Easter Bunny as they posed in front a festive display of treat bags.
Bill Strohecker, Rotary member, enjoyed wearing the Easter Bunny costume this year and plans on trying again next year.
"It's just a blast, cute little kids just love it," Strohecker said.
Rotary member, Bonnie Davis, enjoyed helping families participate in the Chinese Auction. Davis is looking forward to a sense of normalcy.
Davis emphasized that the Rotary is family oriented, providing the community with things such as a playground, community center, soccer activities and a dog park.
"We love giving to the community and Rotary is all about everything, including the youth," Davis said.
Nicole Morgan from Beaver Falls, attends with her family which has made the breakfast a tradition. Morgan has attended the last three to four years and loves giving back to the community.
"Between the breakfast and the bunny, it's definitely something to look forward to every year," Morgan said.
Morgan said that her kids enjoy the park after the event and it means a lot to her family.
