YOUNGSTOWN — Three Columbiana County men were among 20 men charged in a sting operation over the weekend by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

The men were charged after allegedly going to Mahoning County to meet up to have sex with an underaged boy or girl. The Columbiana County men facing charges in Mahoning County are James Smalley of Salem, Richard McLemore of East Palestine and Miguel Felipe of Salem.

Smalley, 51, Sharp Street, is charged with attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, importuning/soliciting an adolescent and possessing crimainal tools.

McLemore, 47, state Route 165, is charged with compelling prostitution, attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and possessing criminal tools.

Felipe, 19, South Lincoln Avenue, is charged with compelling prostitution, attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and possessing criminal tools.

All three men were scheduled to be arraigned in the Canfield Municipal Court on Tuesday.
