The Goshen Police District hosted Community Safety Day Saturday. The event was held at the Goshen Township Administration Building. Local residents were able to meet police officers, local fire departments personnel and enjoy refreshments. The Ohio BMV conducted a children identification processing station. Ohio Photo ID cards are available at any Ohio deputy registrar location. For location
information visit bmv.ohio.gov. The cards for children can assist authorities should a child be reported as missing. There is no minimum age for obtaining a card. Shown above, 9-year-old Addyson Thorne gets a firefighting helmet adjusted by her mom, April, a member of the Damascus Fire Dept..
