Insight counseling center celebrates ribbon-cutting

SALEM — Insight Clinical Counseling & Wellness celebrated more than a year of transforming mental health and wellness for clients with a ribbon-cutting Thursday at the Salem location.

Salem Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors welcomed the mental health and wellness clinic to Salem with the event held at the Insight office, 2400 Southeast Blvd., Suite B.

Insight spokesperson Jessica Oates, LPCC-S, PMH-C, said the company opened in four locations in March 2020, which is right when the pandemic hit the area. Other locations include Canfield, East Palestine and East Liverpool.

“At Insight, we believe in meeting our clients where they are, wherever that may be. Our team of experienced, licensed clinicians and expertly trained wellness staff will be the helping and healing hand to assist you along your journey to a healthier life,” Oates wrote on the Insight pamphlet.

Insight offers counseling and wellness services for children, adolescents and adults of all ages with in-person or Telehealth appointments available.

Mental health specialities include trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, behavioral issues, addiction and substance abuse, pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum, family and relationship issues, anxiety and street and personality disorders.

Wellness services include Reiki (energy healing technique), nutrition, chiropractic, massotherapy, breathwork and Access Bars therapy.

Oates said they accept clients by self-referral or referrals by others.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 1 to 7 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
