Honoring a safety service hero

The turnout gear of former New Waterford Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief Harry B. Wilson sat under an American Flag hung over the roadway in his honor by firefighters from neighboring East Palestine Thursday morning. Wilson, who served the citizens of New Waterford with the fire department for 57 years, was honored with a final call on his way to his burial in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
