Mayor Kevin Siembida swears in new part time dispatcher and police officer Erick W. Ritz during council Wednesday at the recommendation of Police Chief Alan Haueter. According to Village Administrator Gary Phillips, first responders are running with 95% capacity. After experiencing a significant shortage of personnel through all departments, Siembida said he is glad to announce the village is almost back to full staff and thanked residents for their patience.
