Task force seizes drugs in Salem
Columbiana County Drug Task Force agents, Salem police and the county sheriff’s office seized approximately 43 grams of methamphetamine, 6 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of fentanyl and several hundred dollars in U.S. currency shown here after executing a search warrant at 772 W. Wilson St., Salem, on Thursday. The warrant was obtained based on investigations and several traffic stops. Charges are pending lab results. According to a Salem police report from 9:45 a.m. Thursday, children were inside the home at the time of the search. Children Services was called and the children were removed from the residence.
