The Bravura Woodwind Quintet will perform at First Presbyterian Church of Salem on Sunday as part of the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. Selections for the prelude to the service include "Count Your Blessings," arranged by Dana F. Everson;"Fairest Lord Jesus," arranged by James Gilbert; and "Living for Jesus," arranged by Dana F. Everson. Bravura will also provide additional special music "Guide Me, Oh Thou Great Jehovah," arranged by Dana F. Everson. The Quintet will accompany the Haviland choir on the anthem "The Rose of Calvary" by Joseph M. Martin. At the conclusion of the service the quintet will provide the postlude "All Things Bright and Beautiful," arranged by Ralph Raymond Hayes. Members of Bravura are active musicians in the Mahoning Valley, in addition they perform with the W.D. Packard Band of Warren, Ohio. Director of Music at First Presbyterian is John Krauss. Nancy McNeal is organist and pianist. Reverend Doctor Frank Lewis will preside over the service. The Music Fund at First Presbyterian Church of Salem supports guest musicians performing at services.
