The Salem High School Alumni Association Alumni Weekend celebration will be held Aug. 12 and 13, during the Downtown Salem Partnership's 2023 Freed Fest activities.
On Saturday, SHSAA is sponsoring an open house from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

A coupon for a free Quaker Sam Soda at Kast Iron Soda Shop will be given out to each participant.
A new jewelry display will now be part of the office's memorabilia as the SHS Class of 1971 recently donated a new counter for Salem jewelry pieces.
The SHS Alumni Association has awarded grants to downtown businesses to provide music for the "Rock and Stroll," an event for participants to enjoy musical entertainment at a dozen locations.

On Sunday evening, the Summer Concert Series at Waterworth Memorial Park will be SHS Alumni Night. Alumni and friends are encouraged to attend the concert by "Jimmy and the Soulblazers" which will begin at 6 p.m.
A classic car show, food vendor, and the ever-popular Frostop Mug will be a part of the evening's fun.
Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs and Salem graduates are asked to wear red and black.
