The 55th Johnny Appleseed Festival was a big success this past weekend, attracting hundreds to Lisbon's downtown area. The highlight was the Saturday morning parade. The festival also rides, games, vendors, demonstrations such as dancing and martial arts, a vintage car show, musical entertainment, food choices and, of course, an apple pie baking contest and plenty of community goodwill.
