The Salem Historical Society will host an open house on the 11th day, the 11th hour, the 11th month in Freedom Hall located at the corner of East Pershing and Shaffer Way. Military items, including uniforms, photograph, scrapbooks and other related items will be on display. Jerry Laska, Salem Historical Society docent, adjusts the uniform of WW1 soldier Pete Stankovic who was well known to Salem residents. Stankovic donated his uniform and his shoes to the Museum and can be seen 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Contact Salem Historical Society for information at 330-337-8514. (Submitted photo)
