LISBON -- A man involved in a severe motorcycle crash last month has died.
Lawrence A. Davis, 70, Youngstown, crashed his southbound 1985 BMW motorcycle at 4:31 p.m. Oct. 26 on Sprucevale Road north of Spruce Court. The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturning and striking a guardrail, before overturning a second time, ejecting the driver, and coming to a final rest along the right side of the roadway with Davis coming to a final rest "just south of the motorcycle."
Davis was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was transported to UPMC Hospital by Stat MedEvac in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead Oct. 27.
Additional assisting agencies on scene included North Star EMS, the St. Clair Township Police Department and Calcutta Fire Department.
