The Damascus Methodist Church is gearing up to spread Christmas fun Saturday as part of this year's Light up Damascus festivities. This year the church will be hosting a home and craft show with over 30 vendors, a lunch counter, a cookie sale by the dozen, and a meet and greet with the staff of the SRMC Damascus Primary Care from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For children the church will also be having free ornament painting in partnership with Hot Pots Pottery of Alliance, Holiday Hair Fun with Stephanie McDonald and friends in the library and a Lego/Duplo and Elf on the Shelf display in the library. The church will also be visited by Saint Nicholas at 11 a.m. for a reading of the candy cane story in the sanctuary.
