SALEM -- The Salem Rotary Club will be hosting a special "Casino Night" fundraiser this month.
"This event will be a fun evening offering entertainment, a buffet dinner, cocktails, and gaming tables for all in attendance. Funds raised from this event will support the club's initiatives throughout the community," said Salem Rotary President William Dawes.
The event, which will raise funds for the charitable causes, youth programs and educational and community support initiatives Salem Rotary has supported for over 100 years, will be held at the Timberlane's Complex grand ballroom from 6 to 10 p.m. April 20. The event will be for those aged 21 and older and has a cost of $50 per person and is looking to raise $20,000. It will feature many popular casino games including roulette, blackjack, craps and poker.
The price of entry also includes a buffet dinner and $10 of "fun money" to be used at the games. There will also be a "card deck raffle," silent auction, cash bar and music.
Salem Rotary is also seeking donations and event sponsors and offers several sponsorship levels. Donations can be made, and the sponsorship form is available at Salem Rotary's website at www.salemrotaryclub.com. The $250 "High Card" sponsors will receive acknowledgement in a press release on the rotary website, and event signage; $500 "Full House" sponsors also receive mention in the press release, and choice of including in event signage or their name of each table; and the $1,000 "Royal Flush" sponsor receives all the benefits of the "Full House" level, and naming rights for a special cocktail drink, and a choice of naming a casino table after the company with their logo.
Tickets can also be purchased online at Salem Rotary's website. For additional information or questions contact Dawes by phone at 330-207-5707, or by email and ewpdawes@gmail.com.
