The Salem High School Alumni Association will celebrate Giving Tuesday on Dec. 3 by inviting donors to enter a Quaker Sam flag raffle.

Giving Tuesday, now in its 12th year, encourages people to do good by donating to positive causes in their community, country, and worldwide. Locally, SHSAA is asking for donations to the scholarship fund, with a $5 or more donation automatically entering the donor into the raffle.

Crafted by Donald Farmer, SHS Class of 1975, this marks the second year that the alumni association has utilized a Quaker Sam flag as a fundraiser. Donors can make entries via the SHSAA website at www.salemohioalumni.org and label it as Giving Tuesday, visit the office at 330 East State Street in downtown Salem Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. p.m., or mail in a donation. The raffle winner will be pulled on Friday, Dec. 6 at the SHSAA office.
