COLUMBIANA — Columbiana school board members approved a few measures during their April session to close out the school year Tuesday.

Among action, the board:

— Accepted the retirement of Diana Richardson as a paraprofessional/aide with the district effective July 31.

— Approved a one-year supplemental contract for Amanda Cleghorn, high school guidance counselor, for 15 days of extended duty and Cathy Raub Carney, elementary and middle school guidance counselor, for five days of extended duty at each individual’s per diem rate.

— Approved the recommended list of seniors for graduation pending completion of all requirement as of May 25.

— Accepted the high school’s program of studies for the 2025-26 school year.

The next board meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, in the high school media center.
