Dax Wilson of Hanoverton kicked off the kids pedal tractor pull for the four-year-old division Wednesday with a full-pull, ultimately taking second place in his class with a pull of 23.1 feet in a four-way pull off.

In addition to competitions and rides the Columbiana County Fair also hosts a slate of activities for kids to enjoy arts and crafts like birdhouse painting. She and the rest of the top three in the division will have the opportunity to compete in the state tractor pull on Aug. 9.
