COLUMBIANA — Sheetz will open its Columbiana location at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 44952 state Route 14.

Better known as the corner of state Routes 7 and 14, the Columbiana Sheetz expects to draw hundreds of local residents and dignitaries to its grand opening festivities, which include the awarding of prizes. One winner will score a grand prize giveaway of free Sheetz for a year (value $2,500 in a gift card).

Entrants must be age 18 or older.

The actual ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 10:45 a.m. All customers will receive free self-serve coffee or soda for the entire opening day.

Two non-profits will receive $2,500 donations each from mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain as part of Wednesday’s festivities.

In addition to Special Olympics of Ohio, which they have supported for three decades, Sheetz also is making the second sizable donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, which distributes food to hunger-relief organizations across Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

Sheetz also is encouraging its guests to donate a non-perishable item to the non-profit. Ones that do will receive a Sheetz branded thermal bag until 11 a.m. (limit one per customer while supplies last).

Starting at $2.99/week.
