“The Brightside Project is deeply grateful for the generosity of the community and the dedication of our partners who make this event possible. Together, we can ensure that every child receives not only a gift, but also a reminder that they are valued, supported, and loved — especially during the holiday season,” the organization said in a written release.
Each year Bright Christmas sees children ages 3 to 18 living in Columbiana County and rural Mahoning County in need “wrapped in love and support through the giving of gifts, access to food, and the joy of a festive, family-friendly atmosphere” and like all Brightside programs, all items are chosen by the kids themselves. The event will also feature special holiday guests Mr. and Mrs. Claus “on-site to help create an unforgettable Christmas experience.”
