OSU Extension launching ‘The Med instead of Meds’ program

Ohio State University Extension is launching a monthly virtual education series designed to help participants adopt the Mediterranean way of eating through simple, practical and delicious lifestyle steps.

“The Med Instead of Meds” program will guide attendees through seven approachable strategies to “Go Med,” emphasizing great taste, everyday life hacks, and healthy recipe ideas. The series will be held once a month on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m., offering a convenient lunchtime learning opportunity. Each session introduces a new focus area, empowering participants to build sustainable eating habits that are satisfying and beneficial to overall wellness.

Sponsored by OSU Extension Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, the program is open to individuals of all ages who are interested in improving their eating patterns and learning more about the Mediterranean approach. Participants may register online at go.osu.edu/mednotmeds.
