Leetonia council approves telecommunications contract
LEETONIA — The village is the newest client of an Austintown-based company specializing in telecommunication services.
During a special meeting held Monday, council approved a contract with Team Office Technologies for village phone, printer and IT services.
According to assistant village administrator Roman Ferry, the five-year contract will save the village $29,544 per year by bundling the services under one provider.
Team Office also will service a Toshiba E. Studio 3525AC Color printer through a third-party, which will cost the village $379 monthly over the next 60 months.
The village is responsible for keeping up warranties on any third-party products — such as new hardware and software.
The accompanying support package also includes cyber security, backup for four users, team email support and device support.
Team Office also services both police and fire departments, which have their own respective equipment.
