CCCTC project remains on schedule for completion

Transportation addition should be done in December

LISBON — The new transportation addition for the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center is still on schedule to be completed this December.

An update on the project was given during the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center February board of education meeting.

According to the update, the block foundation will be put onto footers soon and the school is also working with Columbia Gas on the necessary upgrades needed for the expansion project.

The $6.5 million project will add more space for the auto tech and auto collision repair programs.

In other business, it was announced that there are 80 attendees planned to attend the Sophomore Showcase on March 5.

The showcase is for career center students only and the 80 attendees are businesses, colleges and military representatives registered to set up tables.

It was also announced during the meeting that the new session of the LPN to RN program has 71 enrollees with two cohorts.

The new session of the evening practical nursing program has 20 enrollees, and enrollment is currently open for the Fall of 2026.
