Salem Rotary to host a Casino Night

SALEM — The Salem Rotary Club is preparing to bring the casino experience to Salem for an upcoming fundraiser.

Rotary will be hosting a Casino Night in the Timberlanes Complex’s grand ballroom from 5:30-10 p.m. April 18. The event will be for ages 21 and older and promises an evening of cocktails, “heavy appetizers,” music, a cash bar, and gaming tables for all participants. Those tables will feature several casino favorites including roulette, blackjack, craps, and poker.

The event will also feature a silent auction, card deck raffle, and other prizes. Tickets cost $50 and include the cost of appetizers and $10 of fun money and can be purchased online at www.salemroatryclub.com. All proceeds will benefit Salem Rotary’s youth programs, educational initiatives, and philanthropic efforts which have benefitted the Salem community and residents for more than 100 years.

Salem Rotary is also seeking sponsors for the event and have four sponsorship levels available ranging in price from $250-$2,000. The $250 “High Card” sponsor level receives inclusion on event signage and a press release on Salem Rotary’s website. The $500 “Full House” sponsor receives inclusion on event signage and a press release on Salem Rotary’s website and their name on each table. The $1,000 “Straight Flush” sponsor receives all the benefits of the “Full House” level and naming rights for a special cocktail drink and for a casino table. The $2,000 “Royal Flush” sponsor level will be limited to one and will receive all the benefits of the “Straight Flush” level and have their logo included on all fun money at the event.

The number of sponsors is limited to maintain a high level of visibility and value for sponsors. Any individuals, organizations or businesses interested in sponsoring the event should contact Salem Rotary Club President Mitch Hendricks by phone at 234-567-6210, or by email at mitch@commonwealthsuburban.com.
