SALEM — This June, the Chamber Gallery of Art inside the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce presents an exclusive exhibition featuring the works of Francis (Frank) J. Trick, a master of Liquid/Fluid Acrylic art. The exhibition runs from June 2 through June 26.

There will be a special Meet the Artist and Artist Talk event June 2 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. This unique opportunity allows art enthusiasts and the community to engage directly with Trick, exploring the inspirations and techniques behind his mesmerizing fluid acrylic pieces.

Frank Trick’s artistic journey is a vibrant blend of lifelong creativity and rediscovery. With a degree in Marketing with a concentration in Art from the University of Dayton, Trick has nurtured his passion for art throughout his life. Since retiring in July 2023, he has fully embraced his calling as a fluid acrylic artist, dedicating himself to the therapeutic and experimental process of creating.

His work is distinguished by the innovative use of metallic, interference, and iridescent paints, combined with custom-mixed pouring mediums. His art captures the dynamic interplay of light and color, inviting viewers into a world of shimmering textures and fluid motion. His pieces also explore mixed media and leaf impressions, adding depth and variety to his exhibitions.
