Waterworth Memorial Park was packed with visitors Saturday as Salem Parks Department and Salem Public Library hosted its annual Art in the Parks Festival, and the Salem City Health District hosted its fifth annual Health Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Health Resource Fair featured a bouncy house, obstacle course, free hot dogs and snacks, raffles, and tables from 12 resource providers distributing information while Art in the Park featured live music, multiple make-and-takes, and more than a dozen craft vendors. The events drew more than 270 people before noon, with officials on site estimating a total of 400 or more visitors before the end of the afternoon. (Photos by Morgan Ahart)
