LISBON -- Columbiana County Auditor Nancy Gause Milliken announced Wednesday that updated, clearer aerial imaging of properties throughout the county is now available.
The updated imagery can be accessed through the county's Geographic Information System website at columbianacountygis.org.
"This is so much better than what we had," Milliken said.
The flyovers for the update occurred in late 2025 and then in 2026. The images were last updated in 2019. The project cost was covered with $250,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds provided by the county commissioners.
"We're very happy to provide that for the public," she said.
According to the press release, "the new aerial imaging provides current, detailed views of properties throughout the county and will serve as a valuable resource for property owners, businesses, government offices and the public."
She did note, however, that the county engineer's tax map remains the keeper of authoritative data when it comes to property lines.
All property, both residential and commercial, is included.
"We are very proud to provide this updated information as part of our ongoing effort to make accurate and useful property information readily available to the community," she said.
On the website, visitors can click on the search button in the upper right corner and put in a name to see a property. They also have other options, such as calling up school districts.
