BUTLER TWP. (WKBN) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to a crash where a cow was struck in the roadway Friday morning in Columbiana County.
Troopers were called to state Route 9 near Mountz Road in Butler Township around 4:15 a.m.
According to OSHP, two vehicles were involved in the crash. Troopers said one of the vehicles hit a cow in the roadway. Troopers did not disclose how the second vehicle was involved in the crash.
Tow trucks removed both vehicles from the scene.
OSHP said that the cow is now deceased.
The roadway is now open.
