Kiwanis offering family fun at Fall Festival Saturday

SALEM -- Salem Kiwanis will be hosting a day of family fun at its annual Fall Family Festival Saturday.
"We're really excited for this and want it to be a day for the whole family to enjoy together," Kiwanis Past President Debbie Leggett said.
This year's festival will be held at Centennial Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. This year's festival is slated to feature antique and craft vendors, a basket raffle and live music. This year's slate of live performances will include: Sassabrass, Ron Gray, Mike Webb, Chase Reiter and Payden Belo.
As always, admission for the show is free of charge, and parking for the show is available in the large lot off Park Avenue. Basket raffle tickets can be purchased for a dollar each, six for $5, 15 for $10, 35 for $20 and so on.
The Fall Festival is set to feature the return of the new favorite "Kiwanis Kids Corner" featuring Plinko, face painting, rock painting, Christmas ornament painting, giant bubbles, a bounce house, the On-target Archery truck, ice cream from Totally 80s Ice Ice Cream Shoppe, a special visit from a Disney princess, and more family fun. For parents, the Kids Korner will also feature coffee from Farmhouse Coffee Company, a local veteran-owned business.
The Fall Festival will also see the return of "Kiwanis Katering" serving sausage sandwiches with or without sauerkraut, hot dogs, chili dogs, chips, haluski, and drinks for a donation, as well as coffee and donuts in the morning.
