LISBON -- The Columbiana County Health District will host one drive-thru and two walk-in flu vaccination clinics this month, with the drive-thru on Oct. 23 in Lisbon and the walk-ins on Oct. 27 in Salineville and Columbiana.
The clinics will have both high-dose flu vaccines available for individuals 65 years and older, and regular-dose vaccines for those 18 years of age and older (Flulaval or Fluzone).
Most major insurance plans are accepted, however, uninsured individuals are welcome. Cash or check will be accepted for self-pay. If paying by check, the name on the account must match the photo ID of the individual paying.
The drive-thru clinic, set from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 23, at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds, in Lisbon, will require pre-registration, with the registration opening at 8:30 a.m. Monday by calling 330-531-3773. Registration will close at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22. Phone line hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of Oct. 12 when the health district office will be closed for Columbus Day.

The clinic will be held at the vaccination complex at the fairgrounds, 225 Lee Ave., Lisbon. Enter at the main entrance on Lee Avenue. Staff will direct vehicles to the vaccination complex in the northwest corner of the fairgrounds.
For the walk-in clinics on Oct. 27, no appointment will be necessary.
The walk-in clinic in Salineville will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Salineville Kiwanis Club, 100 North Alley, Salineville. In Columbiana, the clinic will be 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Carlo Acutis Parish, St. Jude Church, 180 Seventh Street, Columbiana.
Anyone interested in receiving other vaccines available through the health district, such as COVID-19, Shingles, RSV, TDAP,
MMR or Pneumococcal, can call the health district office at 330-424-0272 to schedule an in-office appointment. The health district office is located at 7360 state Route 45, Lisbon.
