LISBON -- An East Liverpool man sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison in Belmont County in April for aggravated trafficking in drugs is now facing multiple drug trafficking and possession charges in Columbiana County in a related case.

Hashim Addae Dunlap, 44, also known as Shane, East Eighth Street, was served Wednesday with a secret indictment recently issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for a dozen charges and arraigned on those charges Thursday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.

At least 10 of the charges stem from Dec. 11, 2025, the day the Columbiana County Drug Task Force, Columbiana County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff's Office K-9 Jimmy and East Liverpool Police executed a search warrant at Dunlap's property on East Eighth Street, East Liverpool, a property investigators identified as a possible stash house for drugs.

The drug raid happened one day after the Belmont County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with Dunlap as an occupant on Dec. 10, 2025 when he was in possession of roughly 4 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, according to a social media post by the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office.

Belmont County started working with the CCDTF and investigators identified one of Dunlap's residences, the one on East Eighth Street, East Liverpool, as a likely stash house for illegal drugs, executing the search warrant on Dec. 11, 2025.

The search yielded roughly 275 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 60 grams of suspected cocaine and/or fentanyl compound and more than 200 grams of prescription pills, along with packaging consistent with drug trafficking.

Charges in the indictment related to the Dec. 11, 2025 drug raid include: first-degree felonies of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, two counts of fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, two counts of fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and fifth-degree felonies of possession of drugs, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.

Two charges, third-degree felonies of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, stem from him allegedly preparing for sale and possession of methamphetamine in an amount equal or greater than bulk but less than five times bulk on Aug. 14, 2025.

For the Dec. 11, 2025 charges, Dunlap allegedly prepared for sale and possessed an amount of methamphetamine equal or greater than 50 times bulk but less than 100 times bulk, prepared for sale and possessed oxycodone and possessed hydrocodone, tramadol, cocaine, heroin and fentanyl.

In Belmont County in April, Dunlap entered a guilty plea to aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, both first-degree felonies, with the sentence issued for the trafficking charge for 10 to 15 years. He was brought to Columbiana County from the Marion Correctional Institution where he's been serving his sentence.

Also served with a secret indictment Wednesday was Jarrod D. Click, 44, College Street, East Liverpool, charged with three counts of nonsupport of dependents, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly failing to pay child support for three children from Sept. 13, 2020 to Sept. 11, 2022.
