The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce and Salem Public Library have selected the winners for the annual "Scarecrow Shenanigans" scarecrow design contest. Winners were selected for three age groups: child, adult, and senior. The child winner was 7-year-old Ethan Clunen who dressed his scarecrow as a member of the Salem football team. The adult winner was Danielle and JC Siembida's granny scarecrow. Judy Myers won the senior division with a mini scarecrow dressed as a doll reading a book. Clunen is not pictured.
