Statewide alert issued for missing man who left Sebring home

(WKBN)- A statewide endangered missing adult alert has been issued for a man who drove away from his Sebring residence on Saturday evening.

The Ohio Attorney General and the Stark County Sheriff's Office said that they are looking for Ernest Wilson, 87. Authorities said that the incident took place on East Georgia Avenue shortly before 5 p.m.

Authorities said that Wilson is in a black 2009 Pontiac Vibe with the Ohio license plate number EU01NS. The vehicle has heavy front-end damage.

Authorities said that Wilson is 5'8 with gray hair and brown eyes. Wilson is 150 lb. Law enforcement said that Wilson has dementia, and law enforcement is concerned for his safety.
