LISBON -- The Ohio Department of Transportation reopened U.S. Route 30 coming out of Lisbon Friday afternoon after a closure of nearly eight hours when a semi overturned and lost its load of scrap metal early in the morning.

A supervisor with the Lisbon post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the driver wasn't injured when his eastbound truck rolled over coming into the curve after Wayne Bridge Road at approximately 4:30 a.m. Friday, going off of the right side of the road.

He said the road had to be closed for an extended time for tow trucks to flip the truck back over. On the scene, the scrap metal that spilled all over the road had to be cleaned up and loaded into trucks for removal.

Starting at /week.
